NECESSARY CHANGES
I am a journalism student at the University of Chile. I enrolled in 2022 for in-person classes, as during the pandemic I took a pre-university course. That's why my first year at university was very light and flexible in terms of grades and academic workload. However, the second year has been heavier compared to the first, especially the second semester.
In the semester I'm currently taking, I have eight courses. This leaves me with very little time to enjoy other hobbies. That's why one of the things I would change about the university would be the distribution of courses that students have to take, as I feel there are too many courses to fully enjoy university life.
For instance, at the beginning of the year, I trained in swimming at the university's facilities three times a week as an extracurricular activity. But the academic workload this semester has worked against me, as in order to perform well, I had to drop out of swimming.
However, next year I hope to have moments where exercise and study align perfectly because I believe sports play an important role in university life. Moreover, the University of Chile has outstanding sports facilities, and even though not all students at the university have regular access, I have the opportunity to train on the campus where I study.

That a shame, I hope next semester you can swim without worries of the worklowad
